Surfactants for water-fuel emulsions FIT-fuel
GREENGO-TECHNOLOGY – developer and manufacturer of a universal surfactant that allows the creation of virtually all types of fuel emulsions: water-oil, water-masut, water-diesel, water-gasoline and combinations thereof.
Particular interest can be caused by water-diesel emulsions for boilers and domestic boilers, water-masut and water-oil emulsions for marine diesel engines, water-oil emulsions made from used machine oil for boiler rooms and domestic boilers.
At the present time, GREENGO-TECHNOLOGY is piloting the simplified mass production technology (on-site use) of water-fuel emulsions with a water content of 30 to 40% using a universal surfactant.
FINE CLEANING OF HEAVY FUELS AND REGENERATION OF OILS
A modern water-fuel emulsion is a hydrocarbon fuel mixed with water by a surfactant. Water in the emulsion is evenly distributed throughout the volume of the hydrocarbon fuel. The size of the water droplets in the emulsion is from 0.1 μm to 10 μm.
The time of preservation of the emulsion depends on the amount and properties of the surfactant. Surfactant is located on the boundary between hydrocarbon fuel and water and prevents the coalescence of droplets. As a rule, 1.5 to 3% of such a surfactant in the emulsion is sufficient to form stable water-fuel emulsions.
At present, such water-fuel emulsions as water-oil, water-masut, water-diesel, water-gasoline and their combinations have become widespread.
It is known that waste gases constitute the main source of toxic emissions from the combustion chambers of internal combustion engines of cars and boilers. The main standardized environmental standards for toxic components of exhaust gases of internal combustion engines are: nitrogen oxides, carbon oxides and hydrocarbons, carcinogenic substances, soot and other harmful components. When burning water-fuel emulsion (due to the presence of water in it), there are no carcinogenic substances in the combustion products, the content of nitrogen oxides NOx decreases by 30-40%, and the content of benzo pyrene decreases by 50-100%. A complete combustion of carbon monoxide CO and soot is provided, as well as a significant reduction in the concentration of SO3 during combustion, for example, of sulphurous mazut and oil.
Numerous studies have established that water in the water-fuel emulsion allows not only to reduce the concentration of toxic emissions in the exhaust gases, but also to increase the completeness of combustion of fuel and also to reduce fuel consumption.
